Our primary breeding program is focused on producing show-quality birds. We adhere to the standard set by the American Poultry Association (APA) for Black Large Fowl. Our vision is to produce kid-friendly, active birds that are easy to handle while staying true to the breed standard. The Araucana is currently listed as Critical on the Livestock Conservancy’s endangered list, making our work part of a larger effort to conserve and protect this historic treasure.
